19th Semi Annual Convention Website



In the history ofToastmasters District 51, this is the first time Melaka will be hosting a District Convention. The organizing team comprises of enthusiastic Toastmasters from Melaka and Johor, who are members of Division A. 

The convention will be held on Holiday Inn which is a new 5-Star hotel in Melaka and is located within close proximity to many tourist attractions. Whether you are looking for food, souvenirs, clothes, shoes or just sightseeing, you will be spoilt for choice. Make sure you bring along a pair of good walking shoes.

Passion Drive From District 51


District 51 2011-2012 has introduced “Passion Drive 1 & 2” Membership and Educational boost Campaign for the months July, August and September 2011.

Passion Drive -1
To clubs to qualify:
  • Recruits five (5) or more new members;
  • Achieves any two (2) educational goals;
  • Provides details of two(2) club leads: Name of community/ corporate organisation; contact person’s name; email address and telephone number/ numbers;
  • Succeeds in having at least four (4) Club Officers trained at TLI-1.
  • Minimum fifteen (15) membership renewal for six (6) months for 1 october 2011 to 31 March 2012 + Confirmation letter for fifteen (15) membership renewal for 1 April 2012 to 30 September 2012.(revised)
Reward:
Get FULL reimbursement on your purchase for an original club banner (imported from Toastmasters International USA) with new TI logo, when your club fulfills all criteria, including successful membership renewal for fifteen (15) for 1 April 2012 to 30 september 2012. (revised)


Passion Drive -2
 To divisions to qualify:
  • Charters a new club on or before 30 September 2011;
