Christmas Dinner/ Meeting

On the 23rd of December 2010, Achievers Toastmasters Club will be organising a Christmas Dinner in conjunction with its meeting at 747 Restaurant.

We have a series of activities planned for the night - Santa Clause Table Topic Session, Assignment speakers, Exchange of Gifts, 8 Course Dinner and many more exciting sessions.

The details of the Dinner is as followed:

Date : 23rd December 2010 (Thursday)
Time : 7:00pm - 10:30pm
Venue : 747 Restaurant (at YMCA)
Fees : RM 35 per pax (8 course dinner & Free flow of wine)

25/11/2010 Meeting

Due to the rain, we had less attendance for the meeting on the 25th of November 2010. However, it was a successful meeting as all the members who attended were well prepared to take up roles despite it was first time. Congratulations to Tai WC, David Ooi, Tan Teik Ee and Erica for their wonderful job.

We also had 6 speakers who delivered their assignment speeches - 3 Ice breakers - Ken Tan, Sim Wan Ying & Tan Poh Chen, Terry Deng delivering his CC#2 on Currency, Loh E-Jiat who completed his CC, inspiring everyone and Kishin who presented the prize to Loh E-Jiat for completing his CC.

All in all, it was a fantastic meeting although the crowd was small. The next meeting will also be a great one as we have already 6 speakers who signed up for their assignment speeches.
